Hazel G.S. Marinero has practiced exclusively Immigration and Nationality Law in the United States since 1990. She holds a Doctorate in Private International Law from the Georg August University in Gottingen, Germany; a Masters of Arts Degree from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and a Bachelor Of Laws Degree from Edinburgh University. She worked at the Office of University Counsel at Stanford University for several years prior to forming her own law practice. She is author of the book: "Drug Manufacturers' Liability in the United States and Germany". Published by Peter Lang Gmbh, Frankfurt. Her law practice emphasizes business and family immigration; she also handles NACARA and political asylum cases in particular for Central Americans.

A majority of Dr. Marinero's clients are high-tech firms in the Silicon Valley in California. She also represents individuals, including engineers, scientists, foreign scholars and students with employment-based and family-based immigration cases.
